I'm debating repl my BV with a MA, but I will only do it now if they are the 35lbers, yk?

I just bought a marathon from albee baby two days ago. i bought the cowmoo pattern and I am crossing my fingers that is a current DOM. What do you guys think/?

I just called Albee baby and they said the Onyx were all 2008, but they could not guarantee what month one I got. I was thinking of ordering and puting a request in the comments box. 2/8/08 was the transition, right?

Actually, the guy tried to tell me that the 35lb limit didn't matter because once they were 1 they needed to be FF, but I corrected him and said that RF is 4x safer and the aap now recs to RF to the limits of the seat and he said "that's good to know!" :thumbsup:

I just ordered my a cowmooflage and put in the comment box that I wanted a 2008 with the new weight limite to be 35lbs rear facing. I then called and asked them about the seats and she said the the seats are 2008 DOMs but couldn't tell me any more than that. I guess I will just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope that its a newer one I also commented about them NEVER having coupons or codes for discounts :thumbsdown:

I e-mailed them a few weeks ago to see if I could get a newer 35# seat and they told me that the only ones with the newer DOMs were the Brownstone ones... Oh yeah they were on sale then too.

I am not too fond of Allbee baby.

Traveling Tikes on the other hand were great! I ordered one from them and they called to tell me it would be a few days before they could ship because they were waiting for a shipment to come in so I could get a 35# seat I asked for.

:thumbsup:I ordered a MA cowmooflage from Albee on May16th for $229 and got it today(May21st) the DOM is May1st,2008 so I am PUMPED about the DOM.

How did you ask for the 35lb limit RF? I want to know how to be effective

I was thinking of selling my dc and getting a 35# MA for avery to buy him some more time RF'ing. I emailed albeebaby back on the 11th asking them what models were the 2008 35# limit. This was their answer...

Brownstone, All Star Blue and Cowmooflauge are 2008 models.
