cosco protek vs graco turbobooster

Just wondering pros and cons of both please.

Off the top of my head I can tell you that Cosco/Dorel boosters must be fully supported by a seat back/headrest, just like the Apex.

The biggest con I have for the TB is that it's too wide and flat on the bottom to fit nicely in my sculpted seats.

Yeah, the Protek...um... not saying I wouldn't put my kid in it, but...I wouldn't put my kid in it... (NO SIP, requires vehicle head support... there's a reason it's so cheap, cuz it's cheap...).

Turbo's ok, really..not my first choice, but I will let my kids ride in it, lol. (decent SIP, fairly comfy).

see in canada we don't have a ton of choices for boosters and we need one for a 4 1/2 yr old approx. 47lbs and 45" tall. Also needs to be as close to $65 or under as possible. Vehicle is an 88 I have no clue sedan with lap/shoulder belts. What about the Compass B530 instead?? They might be able to afford that.

I'd choose a Compass over both other seats. But not if they need 3 across, it's wide, my only complaint.

I've only seen the PKWY for $60 on a bunch of sites that won't ship to Canada, sorry.

That car probably doesn't have enough head support for the Protek.

wal-mart has the evenflo big-kid booster on for $40 right now. Good price for a high back booster.
