MA for baby or GN for toddler?

My infant is in a snugride right now but will outgrow the length in the next few months. I have gone back and forth a million times about it but can't decide if I should get a Marathon for the baby or give her my 2.5 year-olds Evenflo Triumph Advance and get him the Graco Nautilus.

What would you do? I've always wanted a MA but someone bought the Evenflo for us and it's been okay but the large sections of foam, not actual sturdy car seat bug me and if I don't switch dd to it then I'll be rid of it sooner. I also worry about the GN material. It looks cheap and uncomfortable, especially once shorts season comes alone.

We don't have much of a space issue because we have a Toyota Sienna and only two children.

So which would you go for?

Is your 2.5 yr old still RF? If he is, then don't rush the Nautilus yet. If not...go ahead and pass down and get the Nautilus.

As for the material...I bought one over the weekend and now my special needs neice is in it...I'm waiting for my SIL to buy one and send it to me. Anyway--back to the material--I think it's kind of silky feeling and SIL says it looks like it'll be easy to spot clean.

I have a Nautilus and my DS has had no complaints about it yet. He loves his seat. If your 2 year old still RFs then Id keep the EFTA and maybe get a MA. If not, then the Nautilus is a great seat.
