We have been test driving vans lately and I have a couple of questions.
We are thinking of a Ford Freestyle, either a 2005 or 2006.
We are planning to buy a van with buckets in the second row. Can we recline the seats a bit to make the seats fit better? When my ds falls a sleep he lolls about. When we were test driving I tipped the seat back a bit and the seat still sat on the seat bottom flush.
Also, if it is necessary, can I tilt the seat back behind the rf car seat? I only would do this if I need a little more room so there is enough room for me in the front seat.
We have an Evenflo Chase, 5 pt harness to 47 lbs then booster for our 2.5 yr old 35 lb, 38.5 inch ds. We have an Evenflo Titan, 5 pt harness rf to 30 lbs for our 8 month 13 lb, 23.5 inch dd. We are not buying new seats till they out grow these and since we are in CANADA, most of the great seats you guys talk about are not approved for purchase and use here. (I told my dh I want to move to the US for the carseats.
