2008 Models that have LATCH in center and side for twins!

I have 16 month twins and am looking for a new car. I would really be interested in a sedan that offers LATCH in the rear center and rear side positions, leaving one side seat available to an adult passenger. My primary interest is in safety and I will also be looking for models that offer ESC, electronic stability control.

I was under the impression that some Ford and GM models offer what I am looking for, but when I visited their web sites, they didn't specifiy 'CENTER LATCH' when they describe their LATCH offerings.

Has anyone else done this research?

Just because you have a dedicated set of lower anchors for each position doesn't mean you'll be able to fit two seats side by side. Seatbelts are no less safe than LATCH and are often easier to get seats side by side because you can install the outboard seat closer to the door.

The LATCH manual only goes through 2007 models. As of 2007, the following sedans had 3 across LATCH that can be used simultaneously

Buick
-LaCrosse
-Lucerne

Cadillac
-DTS
-Deville
-Seville
-STS

Chevy
-Cobalt
-Impala
-Monte Carlo

Pontiac
-Grand Prix
-Vibe

Saturn
-ION

Some Chyrsler/Dodge and Ford/Lincoln/Mazda/Mercury vehicles do allow center LATCH, but it's borrowing from the outboard positions. You can't use center and outboard at the same time.

The Chevy Malibu and Pontiac G6 also have 3 sets of lower anchors, but the middle and driver's side outboard overlap, making the ds outboard unusable if you use LATCH in the center position.
