I went to the Ford site to type in my VIN...sure enough..it's us Argh!

ANYthing else? Come on now...right now...if there is ANYthing else in my possession that has ANY kind of recall or malfunction, please let me know NOW. I am soooooo done with recalls LMHO

We seem to be prone to this 'sort' of thing. We get the odd ball years of manufacture. The ones where my husband goes to get X part to fix the vehicle then find out, somewhere mid production line they changed that part, so then begins the lengthy track down of this 'new' harder to find part. The vehicles that were produced with slight differences for just a few months. With some recall or other suggested fix or what have ya.

Geesh *rolling eyes and throwing hands in the air*

Just let me say right now...if this new seat I'm being sent, has ANY issues whatsoever...each one of you here on this board, no matter your location, will most certainly hear me scream!! LOL

LOL - too funny, Tara!

:p

I'd like to plug in my VIN# but my Escape Hybrid is still at the dealership ... was running perfectly before I got the 1st oil change - they left the plug out & I was stranded on the side of the HWY 1/2 way between upstate NY & NYCity over 2 weeks ago @@ Apparently, Ford Motor Co. is replcaing the entire engine free of charge simply because it's a Hybrid & they want to investigate it more on their own time

Check your insurance policy papers for your VIN.

Glad to hear they're completely taking care of things for ya. THAT would have been a pricey repair.
