I posted this in part of another thread and didn't get any response, so I figured I'd make a new thread on it's own.
"On a side topic, reguarding all seats, my carseats always have stress marks on the bottom b/c I put my weight in them when I install them to make sure they are tight. I had a tech tell me once that since I do that, and there are the stress marks, I should replace my carseats more often than normal b/c I am making the plastic weaker. Is this true? I'm just curious as the FPSE is coming up on 6 years (even though FP seats have an 8 yr life span). There's nothing else wrong with the seat, other than the cover is pretty grimey looking from 5 yrs of use, and I really love this seat. I asked dh to go out to the car and see what the manufacture date on it was and the first thing he said was "does this mean you have to buy a new carseat?!?!" Maybe I should tell him yes and give Cody Morgan's Wizard and buy Morgan the Cougar Regent.....LOL"
So...any thoughts?
