Marathon coming unbuckled

Twice now when I go to get DD out of the car, one or both of her buckles are undone!!!! She cannot do it herself. I have no idea why this is happening. When I buckle her in, I tug upward after to make sure they clicked in. Some how during our trip though they are coming undone. What should I do???

Call Britax and don't use the seat until you fix the problem. ;)

ETA: Didn't even think of washing it! lol You might even let it soak overnight as the manual suggests.

Take the buckle out of the seat and wash as per the manual. This happened to my seat for a little bit, although if I tugged hard on it, it wouldn't open. After I washed it, it was fine. It may also help to loosen the straps to buckle your child in, make sure they are secure - it will click when you insert the second tongue, and then tighten the straps. Sometimes, it feels locked but if you pull a little harder it will not be.

If that doesn't work, call Britax.

my sister had this issue and she washed it according to the manual and no longer had a problem. If washing doesn't fix it, call britax.
