our van was in an accident this morning
thankfully the kids were not in it
a deer hit the van when dh was driving to work
he said it took our the rear window and smashed up the side of it

so i am wondering if we have to replace all four car seats??

i know in some states it is the law that you have to when
you are in an accident

am just wondering what i need to do..

thank you for your time

Every car seat company has different policies on when a seat should be replaced, so the only way you can get a good answer is to call and ask them. The numbers are in your manuals or on the stickers on seats, or there might be information on the webpages.

Good luck, and I'm glad/hope your dh is ok!

oh thank you
thought it was a state law that they had to be replaced
the one seat will be no big deal since we have 2 more the same to that one
and of all of them that is the one i am most worried about since it is on the side where the door is smashed up. :(

the other 3 boosters are all the same company so i will give them a call this morning

again thank you soo sooo much!!

yes dh is ok just the van is banged up and we are all just thankful
that it was not worse

Yeah, some states do require replacement of "occupied" seats... so if it was empty, things get a bit stickier. Also ask your insurance company if they have a replacement policy, because they might pay for it.

Fingers crossed all goes well...tell us what happens!
