Oh no my RA!!

OMG! I just took the covers off our MA and RA to wash. 5 minutes later dd is sitting in the RA tearing off the EPS foam, is that what it's called? Here are pictures. What can i do??? Is this seat ruined? DOM is June 2003. I feel sick....

It's ok...for the meantime you can tape the foam back in place, and call them Monday and order a new piece, it's easy to replace :thumbsup:

That same exact thing has happened to at least two other RA owners on this board (one of them me). You can tape it (I glued it, but I don't remember now what Britax said about that) and I got a new one (actually came in three pieces) from Britax. It was very easy to replace

btw- this almost happened to me yesterday as well with the marathon.

I took off the cover to wash it, and came back in the room to find the comfort foam on one side of the room and the eps foam in 21 month old DS3's hands

Luckily nothing was damaged, though -- but it easily could have been

She did mention it was July 2003 DOM, so that could be why it is grey.

You can tape it back together. Don't use super glue though. Don't ask me how I know that.

Britax will send you a replacement too which reminds me, I need to order some Parkway foam.

LOL! I super glued mine and it reacted with the styrofoam and melted and SMOKED!!
Yeah, def. don't use superglue!!
Clear Packing tape worked much better

LOL - glad to know I'm not the only one who had a superglue mishap---Duct tape worked great for me, really flexible and super sticky!
