Techs in Tacoma, Washington area?

I have a friend in Tacoma who is pregnant and due in July. She got a LATCH Loc that is only a year old from a trusted friend to use until she gets a convertible seat. Her family has 10-12lbs babies so it likely won't be long. Not having to buy an infant seat means they will be able to buy a longer lasting convertible.

However, I would like a tech that I trust to help her install the seats. I plan to help her as much as I can online... even if it means having her set up the webcam and walking her through it on the phone. But, I'd feel much better if there was a tech to double check it as well.

I'm not anticipating her being difficult though so it might be a refreshing check for whoever does it. lol

I am taking a class in May so I will be a tech before July! I am just a few minutes from Tacoma.

And obviously you would help me on the extended rear facing thing then.

lol I just want to make sure the tech she goes to says the same things I do. Everytime a friend goes to a tech they say "oh, they didn't agree with you about extended rear facing"... etc. So, I am picking one in advance for this one! Especially given the big baby thing, I don't want them turning the baby because they "look big enough."

Can you tell I've had lots of bad experiences? lol

Yes. And I have yet to convince anyone to turn their already 1 year old from FF to RF but I make it very known that my 2.5 (3 in May) is still rf and WHY. Anybody who askes gets bombarded with links and crash test videos. Does anyone care? Guess not. geesh. Avery is about 27lbs. Maybe 28 so he has about 5 lbs to go before I have to switch him. I hope its not before he turns 3. I really want to be able to say we made it to 3 rf'ing. I cant see him gaining 5lbs in 4 months though. That would be one heck of a growth spurt! lol

Awesome.

She says she absolutely plans to take all of my advice on car seats so I doubt it'll be an issue.
