Did I make a good decision?

Baby #3 is due 3/3/08 and will be in a Peg Perego Viaggio SIP until he/she outgrows it.
I just purchased a DOM 10/07 Britax Marathon, got a good deal on it, NIB, and I bought it now becuase of the good deal, and the fact that it is Cowmooflage, which is LOVE! I figured that it would expire 10/13 and baby would then be about 5 1/2, more than likely have outgrown it at that point anyway. I am just wondering if I am going to kick myself for not getting the Blvd., or if I will be happy with the MA. Baby is going to be past the point of needing head support that the Blvd provides, I know it is for SIP not just head support too. We have a MA that DS#2 is currently in and we really are/have been happy with it.
Just second guessing my choice, so I could use some encouragement.

I think that the MA is a great seat and if you got a good deal on it that's great.

My baby is due in May and I already have a MA for it . . . well it is supposed to be here but i'm still waiting for it. I had a spare MA that was in a collision so this is the replacement seat and it will be for the baby or ds1 until the baby needs it and ds1's will be the spare. Either way I will have two MA's.

We currently have our boys in a Regent, 6yo DS#1 and a MA, 4yo DS#2. I am happy with the MA, so I am sure I will like one for this baby too. The one that DS#2 is in, will expire before baby can use it.

I'm sure you'll be perfectly happy with it. :)

We bought a MA for ds when I was still pregnant with him because it was on sale. Turns out it was when Britax lowered their Canadian MSRP from $349 to $299, so the price never did go back up, but as a result the seat will expire when ds is about 5.5 yrs old as well. We've since used it for dd while he was in the infant seat anyways, and he has such a tall torso that he'll outgrow it long before it expires anyways, so we'll have gotten our money's worth out of it...

Since you'll probably move babe #3 into a regent in the end anyways, I'm sure the seat expiring when babe is 5.5 really won't be a big deal. And you got a good deal on it, you know you like the MA and that it installs well... I think you made a decision to be happy with. :)

(We don't have any seats with TSIP in Canada, so I can't really comment on that aspect. I know I love my MA though and I'm not sure if the extra money is worth it for a blvd or not - and for all you know babe #3 might not like the wings anyways and you'd be stuck looking for a MA.)
