I have a Dodge Grand Caravan 99. I will be putting it on the bench seat in the back of the van. I know I have long belt stalks in there. Any advice before it gets here and I end up pulling my hair out? My Daughter who will be riding in it will be 4 1/2 years old, 15 1/2 inch torso, and 36 lbs.

You can twist the belt stalk up to 3 full twists to help with the install.

Read both you vehicle manual and your Regent manual. I do not have experience installing the Regent, so I can't be much more help than that. I have heard you will need a mallet or something ti get the recline bar in all the way.

ETA: Of course if you have any problems you can check here. If you have not already read it here is the Regent manual.

Yeah got that covered my MIL will be coming to watch the kids while I am outside putting the van seats back in and getting all my car seats put in so she will bring me one when she comes.

I think I will also turn my older son RF again in the boulevard so they can all see each other.

I have all the buckle stalks twisted 3 times right now and it is still a little hard to get my boulevards in so this will be a challenge.

Do you think I could do it with the center belt? It is the old style lap belt only with the locking latch plate.

With the recline bar it may be enough to only twist 3 full times. Yes you can certainly use just the lapbelt in the center. The best way to do that is to adjust it to a length that you think you need it and then try to buckle it. You may have to do this a few times to get it where it needs to be. Just make sure the latchplate and the seatbelt lay paralell so it doe not come loose.

Any tips on putting a boulevard RF? I have never installed it RF. and I have to bring the seat inside to read the manual which i might do tommorrow night.

YW. It is pretty easy to install the BV RF. Pull the base away from the seat bight to get a more upright install.
