I have a 2003 Lincoln aviator and I'm trying to install a car seat we're facing in the middle seat but it doesn't have the anchor latch and I tried using the seatbelt but it seems kind of loose is there any thing else I can do I don't feel comfortable with her car seat next to the door

You are on the right track using the seatbelt. What seat is it you are trying to install? Maybe we have some specific tips for that seat. In general, I like to get my hips behind the seat and push it back into the vehicle seat as I tighten the seat belt. (This usually requires moving at least the passenger seat all the way forward and tilted forward.) I then hold the belt tight with one hand, do a preliminary tightness check with the other hand, and engage the locking retractor. Then check for tightness at the belt path from next to the seat.
