Regent in 3rd row Suburban 2005

Hello all

I am trying to install our newly purchased Britax Regent in our 2005 Chevy Suburban in the 3rd row behind the drivers side using the long path with the belt. I have installed the recline bar. I have read many posts here where people are achieving installation using the extent of the belt and kneeling on it. I have to tell you all I have been trying this for a couple of hours now and I am still a foot short! I have GM seat belts that look like they are a model 1F004 made by Key Safety Systems. I am at a loss and love Britax seats and want to work this out. Please help

P.S. My daughter is 4 and 35 lbs so I believe I have to use the LBP?

I have an '05 Tahoe and I too couldn't do LBP in the 3rd row of my Tahoe (same as the Burb). What is the DOM (date of manufacture) of your Regent?

I got an AWESOME install using the short belt path, recline bar & top tethering in my Tahoe.

Can I ask why you are installing on the driver outboard position when the top tether is on the passenger outboard/center position?
