Good evening.
I have a friend who asked me to see what I could find for her online about an issue she is having with her child in the car seat. The child is 1 year old and they live in northern VT. The issue they are having is that the little one likes to unzip his fleece jacket that he wears to ride in the car seat. She doesn't put him in the heavy winter coat he has because of the safety concerns and poor fit of the car seat straps, but the fleece jacket doesn't have any snaps etc to securely keep the zipper up where it needs to be to keep him warm enough. His fine motor pincher skills are superior and others have recommended a safety pin to help, but he would be able to undo the pin in no time, thus causing injury and distraction. This is a minor issue compared to most on here but just curious if anyone has any helpful hints on how to keep the little guy warm and safe in the winter? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
