Chicco combo seat??

Has anyone heard anywhere or anything from ANYone - legit source or not :p - about if Chicco will offer a combination seat? I was just looking at seats for J2 & really did like the look of the Chicco booster, and I loved our KeyFit, and pretty much everyone I know loves their NextFits... so I was thinking "boy I bet Chicco would make an awesome combo seat."

And if it's been discussed before I'll gladly go read previous threads if anyone can link or even give me good keywords ;)

Well I haven't heard anything, but this would be awesome! I love the Nextfit, but it seems awkward FF. I really, really hope this is in the works.

Yeah my ds1 refuses to sit in nextfit ff because of the curve of the seat. But I love it rf and their booster is great, so a combo from them could potentially be a front runner.

I haven't heard anything, but we can start a rumor right here if an unofficial source is good enough for you. :)

Ooh, I'll make up details!

It's essentially going to be a narrow FR90. Super tall top slots, high weight, crazy easy install, but good for installing side by side. You can even put 2 of them next to each other in a small sedan with room for a small adult in the 3rd seat back there!

Who wants to name it?

Sigh. I wish someone - anyone - would make that seat, pronto. My Pioneer is such a beast, but I'm out of luck for a seat with top slots over 19" (the Sureride doesn't count, sorry, it's all crazy reclined, the straps are narrow, I don't like the high sides, and so on).

PerfectFit (if we're sticking with Chicco theoretically making this)

I just bought a Pioneer today. It doesn't seem TOO bulky or anything, I just don't *love* it.
