My sister has a Graco snugride. She will be driving with my mom tomorrow and wants to use the snugride w/o the base.
My mom drives a 2007 Mercedes E350 and Spencer would be in the rear center. So does the seatbelt have an automatic locking device or would she need the H-clip.
Also what is the best thing I can tell her to put under the front of the carseat to get a good intstall?
I am 28 hrs away from her so I have to tell her everything over the phone. I dont remeber what the seatbelt is like in the center but I am pretty sure it has a lock plate thing.

Pool noodles would work best, but if she doesn't have one handy she can roll up a bath towel nice and tight.
