Are there any booster seats for children over 120 pounds?

My mother adopted a little girl that is in need of a booster seat. She has not been able to find one that she fits into yet. She is 4'5" and 125 pounds. So far, I have only seen seats that are for special needs kids that meet those requirements and they are too expensive for her. Are there any other options that I have missed? Thanks in advance for any help.

I've looked into that before & haven't seen any. Hopefully one of the experts on here can help!!

Do you expect her weight to change in the near future? I'm wondering if it levels off or drops a little with the new environment, if it would be safe to use a booster seat with 120 lb weight limit?

Otherwise, if she qualifies for adoption stipends, they could maybe help pay for a special needs seat?

How old is the child? When you say booster do you truly mean a booster that has no harness, child sits in it with seatbelt in them? Or do you actually mean a seat with a 5 point harness in it?

I just read that the Combi Kobuk booster goes up to 125 lbs. so that will work for her if she doesn't put on any more weight.

I would be okay using a Safety 1st Incognito over the weight limits, and since it does not have arms, it should accommodate a wide child.

I hadn't heard of this one. She is pretty wide so this might just work. Thank you.

The Peg Perego Shuttle goes to 120 lb, 63” and is allowed with Ford/Lincoln inflatable belts.

The Clek Olli goes to 120 lb, 57” and is allowed with Ford/Lincoln inflatable belts.

Are there any booster seats for children over 120 pounds?
