headrest or no headrest

DD is 6 and when I have to sit in the back we put her in a low back booster in the center, but she complains about the headrest, it's push her head forward

That picture is so close it's hard to tell.

Are the tops of her ears below the seatback? We removed the headrest for my DS in our Mazda for the same reason. The seatback is just below the top of his head. DD is about 4" taller (standing height) and it doesn't bother her so I think by the time DS needs the headrest it will work better for him.
