I have an extended cab F150 and a 20lb 9 month old. We're now approaching the height were I need to put the headrest onto the True Fit, but there's no way to do it without the headrest touching the front seat. I currently have the seat in the middle position.
My question is: can the True Fit be installed at less than a 45 degree angle? I feel like if the angle wasn't as steep I might be able to keep her in the middle position.
The only other option I can come up with is to move the seat to the outboard passenger position with the seat moved all the way up (which mean no one can sit in the front seat) or to buy a new seat.
I'm not against buying a new seat, if anyone has suggestions on something that would fit well in the back of my Extended Cab truck and can keep her ERF.
Thanks!
