    Q for Radian owners

I just got some stuff from SKJP to upgrade my R65 - the pads, wide buckle tongues and the carry bag. The pads are OK, the buckle tongues are fine, but I was confused by the carry bag.

Why do they hook the straps to the bag cover and not to the designated loops on the seat itself??? The way they did it it's flimsy, the seat bounces on my back, and I bet the first time it catches into smth I'll tore the straps off. All they have to do is just cut 3 slots...OK, velcro covered slots (for the waterproof tag) where the loops are. Simple, easy, cheap and solid

I guess I'll end up cutting/burning short (1/2") slots and be done with it. Do you have better ideas.

Nope, but had the same opinion of the radian carry bag as you. It is flimsy.

ITA! There are other bags out there for the money that work better with a Radian just slid in -- even a Walmart duffle bag that comes with wheels

The Radian carry bag pretty much fell apart on us when we used it to carry the seat during an international flight. We certainly were not happy campers.
Next time we're bringing the seat, we'll just definitely use the loops on the seat itself and forego the bag.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll probably remodel it.
