Safety 1st car seat on upcoming SW flight

Hi. I am travelling to Florida from Portland, OR on Southwest. I am wondering if anyone has used a Safety 1st Complete Air 65 convertible carseat on a Southwest flight? The car seat has the "Approved for Air Travel" sticker on it, but on the Southwest's website it says seats wider than 16 inches usually don't fit & my car seat is 18 inches wide. Not sure what to do?:confused:

Did it fit in the end? I have the same question - I'll be taking my 1-yr-old with me on Southwest, and also have a Safety 1st Complete Air 65.

Welcome to car-seat.org! I hope both of you were able to travel with your seats. I am with jjordan, though. I'd be VERY surprised to find that the Complete Air didn't fit.
