Trying to install my Foonf RF for the first time in a 2014 Odyssey using he seat belt. Am I able to recline the back of the vehicle seat or does it need to be upright? Thanks!

Back of vehicle seat - can it be reclined?

A slight recline of the vehicle seat is ok as long as the anti-rebound bar (ARB for short,) makes firm contact with the vehicle seat. The manual warning against reclining the vehicle seat is to prevent the vehicle seat from being extremely reclined. If you think of how reclined some captain's chairs will go - almost as flat as a lazy-boy chair, that's what we want to avoid. But a slight recline is no problem at all.
