Do I have to stop using latch system and instead use a seat belt to install carseat when DS is over a certain weight?

A friend told us that we have to switch from the latch system to a seat belt installation for our car seat once our son reaches a certain weight. He is 45 lbs, FF in a Graco Headwise Safety Surround car seat in our Honda CRV. My husband found no information in the car manual about this, and I'm couldn't on the Graco website, either.

Do we need to stop using the latch system and instead install the car seat with the seat belt?

Yes you need to stop using latch and switch to seatbelt, Honda has a 65-Carseat weight limit in their vehicles. The Headwise is about 20lbs so at 45lbs is when you need to switch to seat belt. Graco also has a 48lb limit which I believe should be in the car-seat manual. But the Honda's limit trumps Graco in this case.
