My 24 lb, almost 18 month old has outgrown the Roundabout (RF)...

Reason #8,789,678 that I am glad we have Marathons.

We tried him in it in Target yesterday. He's outgrown a whole bunch of seats, but he's definitly within an inch of the top there in the store.

Disturbing.

britax allows you to RF until the top of the head=the top of the shell. so he would have just a little bit longer... he might make it to 25 or 26lbs lol!

Itll be interesting if he turns out to be like MY DS, then you will have to get a regent :p :ROTFLMAO:

He's probably got another month or two in it! Yay!

In the Marathon, he has a year or two. LOL

even when DS hit the weight limit he wasnt quite at the height limit on the MA. He had less than an inch, but at that age would have been months more for the height.

It would be interesting to meet the child who outgrows the MA RFing by height :scratcheshead:

Yeah, Leah's 20 mos and pushing an inch from the top of her RA... my manual says tops of ears even with top of seat for RF, lol...I don't think I'll go that far  (though I don't know why not...she's like 8 inches from the front seatbacks in the van...)
Anywho...yeah, you have to be some kind of tall and skinny to get too tall for the MA RF (might happen more when the weight limit is 35...)

My BFF has a very long-torsoed 18 month who's already outgrown the RA! We passed down Macha's Marathon to her. :)

Nadia's tall and count-her-ribs skinny, but it's all leg. She's over 35 lb, and she's still at least 1" from the top of the seat when she's sitting up straight in the Marathon. When she slouches, she's got even more room.

I *love* my Roundabouts! I had to switch DD#2 to a Marathon for a time when she hit the RF RA limits. But as soon I turned her FF, she went right back in the Roundabout. I'll be so sad when my RAs expire next year and I have to go back to the Marathons with the HUGS and the annoying harness adjuster.

Evan is 26# at most and over the top of the RA in the store. He was about 1" from the top 9/06 which means the whole 1.5" he gained since his birthday have all been torso. :)
