Car with RFing Radian in the center?

In searching for a new vehicle, its just crossed my mind that not all vehicles have as limited car seat arrangements as my Forester. We can't put even our Radian RFing in the center of the back seat because then neither seat can recline enough for DH. Ideally, we'd RF our incoming baby in the center in our Radian RXT and have our DD FFing outboard behind the passenger in her Radian R100. There MUST be vehicles in which this works. Throw them at me, ladies. We'd prefer a wagon-style/hatchback. Bonus points for decent gas mileage.

This is exactly the set-up we have in SO's 2009 Toyota Matrix. We also had:

- RF Rxt center with RF britax b-safe passenger
- FF britax advocate driver side with RF RXT center
- FF advocate driver side with RF b-safe center

It's tight but doable!

Awesome! The Matrix was on our short list before we bought the Subaru.

I should add that the radian only fits with the angle adjuster, which is only suitable for use with older babies. The radian takes a lot of space at 45°.

I have a brand new Scion xB and I love this car. The backseat is roomier than the Matrix. My SO fell in love with my xB and keeps on telling me how he would trade is Matrix for a xB. If you love the boxy style, take a look at it. Its really spacious, comfortable and the trunk space is great!

Only fits with the angle adjuster because the front seats hit the car seat otherwise? Ugh.

I need a vehicle that will accommodate a RFing car seat in the center seat that does not interfere with the front seats, like at all.

The radian is a beast, maybe you should look into a more compact seat? That would be way less expensive than a bigger car.
