So you're tethering rf?

You'll need to find a spot under the front seats. Sometimes you have to pop off plastic trim pieces to expose the metal components that are bolted to the vehicle frame. You need an immovable bar that is anchored to the car. Seat legs work well and seatbelt buckle stalk anchors will do as long as it isn't interfering with another passenger using that seatbelt. There's a d-ring that came with the tether (nylon strap with metal ring at one end and a loop at the other). You wrap the d-ring around the bar you choose and pass the metal ring back through the loop. Then you attach the tether hook to the metal ring. Pull it just tight enough to get all the slack out. It doesn't have to be overly tight- just taut.

If you can't see anything that will work, can you take a picture of the under-side of the seat in front of the Marathon? Maybe we can help you spot something that will work.
