Well, i need a new seat!

So, MIL is driving me crazy. I installed my scenera in her car RF for dd2. She has a small Toyota yaris and with the scenera at the proper angle, the passenger seat is pretty forward but okay IMO. I told her not to recline the seat to not mess with my install and she said she won't. Well, today I looked in her car and the scenera was totally lifted from the seat!!!

The scenera needs to go! It has 1 year left on it so its not a big lost. Here is my dilemma: do I loan her my beloved cowmoo advocate and buy a new seat for my car or do I buy her a cheap compact seat?

Does a cheap, really narrow front to back seat even exist?

I don't know what to do...

I'd look for a deal on a Roundabout or Maratjon. I love the ease of use and it'd probably fit better. If you want a longer lasting seat for your car, then you could move your Advocate.

That was my first thought, but I would have to find a clearance G3 since rf thetering is now mandatory...

Dd2 is tiny, she's 28" and 18lbs and has ton of room to grow in the advocate before she reaches the 1" limit. She's just a hair under the 2nd slots.

My target doesn't carry the classic MA :(

Does the RA have lower limits? I need it to last until 3-4 yo RF and 5-6 FF. My kids have small torsos, dd1 is 5.5 and still fits in the adv ff.

I installed my advocate in mil's car and put the scenera in my car. I don't like the install and I couldn't get it tight with the noodles. I'll try with a rolled towel tomorrow.

I think I will get either a foonf or a peg. I really like the idea of an anti-rebound bar. I will try both in my car tomorrow!

Im surprised that your Target doesn't carry the Britax Marathon as Target has their own Marathon fabric. The target is the old style Marathon Classic.

Even my podunk Newfoundland Target carry's the Marathon!

I'm in Québec city, and none around carries the classic marathon. Actually, the aisle is pretty empty. We have a couple infant seats, evenflo titan, Cosco apt, nautilus, maestro and a couple of boosters. The Zellers used to carry a lot of seats (2 aisles).

I ended up ordering a flamingo Foonf at a local baby boutique. They gave me a 15% discount, since I'm a good customer!
