Nisaan leaf: RF TrueFit or Radian?

I'm trying to work out which will be easier to install rear-facing on the passenger side in our Nissan Leaf: TrueFit or Radian?

The seat has to go on the passenger side because when we tried the TrueFit in the middle, it cut out too much visibility for the driver. I expect the radian would be the same.

I'd like to be able to have an adult passenger in front, so I'm wondering which seat is more likely to allow the front seat to go back a decent distance?

I saw the great documentary post showing a RF-Radian in the Leaf, which was promising, but it sounded like the best way to get it to fit was with an angle adjuster. Is that something you buy separately? I usually have installed the Radian with the RF attachment stuck on the base but otherwise no other adjusters.

It's for an almost 3-year-old so we don't need a deep recline except for whatever is deemed safe-functioning of the seat.

If anyone has experience with the truefit in the Leaf I'd love to hear - or even just general impressions of the relative fit of the truefit v radian for small cars.

Thanks!

Thanks, that is a fantastic overview of RF seats!

I just ordered the AA.

Now I just have to hope I can install the TrueFit in our Mazda5 RF without too much leg-room removal for the front passenger.

Yes highly doubt the truefit would have worked in the leaf since its not allowed to touch the seat in front of it at all.
