Turbulence

For those contemplating whether to buy a seat or not, please do. Turbulence happens. This baby was very lucky. Glad he/she is ok. Glad the other passengers will be ok.

I saw that! So scary! I know it's still safer than traveling by car, but I can't imagine being that mom. Odds are you'd need to take your baby out of their seat at some point even if you do buy a seat. So glad the baby is ok. Another good reminder to stay buckled when seated too!

Wow!!! I am so thankful for posts like this to remind us to keep our kids safe.
I am also very grateful for this site and all the mamas for telling me to buy an extra seat for my 19 month old dd.

We leave today for Seattle & I am so much more relaxed knowing that dd is going to be safe in her britax

They mention the baby in the second video clip. Good argument for carseats on planes, but I'm glad the kid wasn't hurt.

Allowing lap babies seems sort of "quaint" to me like the days of siblings sitting on each other's laps and floating around in the back of a station wagon.
