Can the Frontier be latched and used as a booster?

What others can be latched?

It will be in the 3rd row of my explorer so i am not climbing in every time to buckle in the seat.

Child is 6.5, 55lbs

Yes, the Frontier can be latched and top tethered as a booster. My DD rides in her 85 and loves it! She can completely buckle herself, even using the SG clip. It's awesome!

P.S. In fact I think they actually recommend you latch it in the manual.

I should add, it took her about a week to learn to buckle it herself. Those first few days, I almost gave up thinking she'd never get it, so don't give up too quickly because it completely paid off.

What size is your daughter? I'm wondering what size they need to be to get a good fit in booster mode? We are not converting to booster mode quite yet, but it will be sometime in the next year.

Thanks!!

She was about 53" and 53-55 pounds and outgrowing the harness. She's very thin, so a wider (more normal) kid might fit it before outgrowing the harness. HTH.
