Question If you could pick any infant seat...

Okay - so I am down to the SR35 and the KF30... if we take price out, which would you go for?

I make short babies for sure, not just low weight in this case (though that will be part of it too!).

Thanks so much to each of you! Great info!

And, I do have a minivan now (05 Ody) so we are dealing with captains chairs :)

Fabulous! Thanks ladies :)

For sure I will watch for a good deal on a 22! Right now, I can get a KF30 down to ~$200 taxes in (staff discount, sale and a coupon). I can't get the same on a 22 yet, but maybe once the 30 is in stores a bit more, the 22s will come down!

For me - definitely the KeyFit! I had two for my twins. They were born at 38 weeks (so, not premature) at 19" and 6.5lb. The KeyFit was nice and snug, and they were probably down to nearly 5lb. when we took them home. The KF22 would have been fine for us... I think they may have just hit 22lb around 22 months. They're around 5th-10th percentile for height and weight.

We had a SR32 from my oldest daughter, which I believe has the same lowest harness height as the SR35 (7"), and the twins were just swimming in it at first. I could not get the harness tight enough.

Fantastic! I hope I can get to 38 weeks and have each around 6.5lbs! Good job momma!

Personally I have issues with the Graco recall but not for the reasons you think. I'm mad the company tried to sweep their problems under the rug and blame it on good getting caught in the buckles... Plus I just think the kf is a nicer seat :)

It was even worse here 1mommy.. they only did the recall in the US first and we got instructions to clean the buckle.. then they admitted that our buckles were the same as the US so recalled ours too. After using a Britax BLVD, I find most buckles horrid!
