We are expecting #3 and would love any advice on fitting 3 across and what vehicles might work. Ideally we would like to use the combination of seats that we have with the possibility of buying 1 new one if required. Here is what we currently have:

2 Clek Foonfs - currently rear facing in a 2007 mazda 3
2 Britax Boulevards - currently rear facing in a 2000 VW Beetle (obviously the car that needs to go).
Peg Perego Primo V - currently not in use.

We would like to keep our older 2 kids rear facing but could consider switching our eldest (who will be 4) forward facing. At her size she could stay rear facing for at least another 1-2 years which would be ideal.

Has anyone made any of this work in a mazda 3?
What cars might be options for a new vehicle purchase (either new or used car)?

Thank you so VERY much!!

FYI - in canada if that makes a difference

Additionally... if we are using the peg infant seat in the initial combination I would need suggestions on a third seat for later down the road. Thanks again!

You may be successful with a forward facing Foonf behind the driver, rear facing Foonf middle, and 30/30 behind the passenger.

Down the road you may want to look at a Radian as a third seat. Having something lower profile on the passenger side so that you can more easily load a child to the middle in the sky-high Foonf.

Use the seatbelt to install the seats. Doing this will allow you to bump each outboard seat towards the door just a tiny bit, which helps in a snug 3 across. The middle seat will be a seatbelt install no matter what because there are no UAS anchors there.
