Question RF Foonfs and Tethering

Unfortunately, I am confused from the Foonf manual and threads, should I tether my rear-facing Foonfs?

Since it's a single strap tether, I am guessing it will depend if I have a floor anchor. If it matters, I've got a 2012 Volvo XC90 and a 2011 Volvo S60. I think both anchors are located behind the back seat.

(Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm a new Mother.)

Hi Hannah, it's great that you're looking for information when you're not sure of something - there's definitely no such thing as a dumb question.

To answer your question, RF tethering isn't necessary on the Foonf because of the anti-rebound bar (ARB) which has to be used with all rear-facing installations.
We allow RF tethering only *if* the vehicle manufacturer explicitly allows it and there is a dedicated anchor for it. We do NOT allow the use of a d-ring to create a RF tether point.
