thoughts on Hyundai Santa Fe Sport?

We are expecting our first and looking to upgrade our '04 Mazda 3 sedan to a CUV. My wife doesn't want to drive a minivan or 7-seater SUV just yet (maybe in 5-7 years).

I've done a bunch of research and we really like the '14 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, at least on paper. We haven't done test drives yet.

Any thoughts on this as a young family car? Thanks.

I've owned two different hyundai and really liked them. You get a lot for your money.

We have the new Hyundai Santa Fe. We have the limited version so extended with the third row and captains chairs(we have 3 kids). It is easy to install everything I've tried thus far and the second row leg room is good. I'm 5'8" with a 33" inseam and DH is over 6 feet tall.

The drive is nice and smooth and I'm pleased with the fit and finish.
