Question Radian, Foonf, or other?

My daughter is 4 months old and 17lbs (and growing fast!). I'm not sure of her current height, but at 2 months she was 15.5". She has been hovering around 80th-95th percentiles for height and weight, so I am anticipating that she may always be. She will outgrow her infant seat at 29"/22lbs.
Assuming that she stays big for her age, I would like a seat that will keep her rear facing for as long as possible. I am currently thinking about the Radian (which is what my tiny 10th-20th percentiles 3 year old son is in) or the Foonf.
Is either one any better than the other? Is there another seat I should be considering?
Thanks!

Both the Radian and Foonf are good seats and will last a long time rear facing. For which one you will like more is largely based on personal preference. What kind of vehicle do you drive? Do you have a store near you that carries both seats so that you can try them out in your vehicle?

Some other seats that last awhile rear facing that you can peak at are the Sureride and the Size4Me/HeadWise/MySize.

I would love to get my hands on a foonf but it's just too much money for me and a lot of reviews say they don't have much padding. Padding is a big deal to me. I really love the nextfit except for the harness pads - tons of leg room, TALL rf, squishy, and adequate weight limit, and can be had for 220ish...

Did you mean 25.5"?

The Radian and Foonf are both great seats, but are very different. I prefer the Foonf for younger kids (under age 2 or 3), but FAR prefer the Radian for older kids (aged 2/3-5/6). So, I'm not sure what to recommend!
I don't have a Foonf because I don't like the way it worked with older kids and FF kids in my car. Therefore, I've stuck with "ol' faithful" Radian XT.

I have my almost-4-year-old RF in a Foonf, and she has always been in the 95th percentile for height. Unfortunately, she didn't maintain the 90th in weight, so she's now pretty much at her limit for height in the Foonf (Actually, she's outgrown it FF, as her shoulders are now slightly above the top strap slot), but at only 35 lbs, nowhere near ready for a booster. We've had her FF in it a few times in rental cars when traveling, and she hates it because her butt goes numb. I'd have to agree it has its limitations with older kiddos, and if you truly have a 90th percentile baby, it probably won't get you to boostering age, but then, neither will the Radian, as I believe the top strap height is the same.
