Fitting multiple carseats

I'm travelling with a friend next month, her two kids and my son. She's got a 2004 GMC Envoy, her 22 month old is in a Britax Marathon, her 4 month old is an an Evenflo Embrace (but may also be in a Marathon as well) and we're going to need a carseat for my 21 month old.

Her 22 month old is FF and my 21 month old is FF as well, but has no qualms being RF.

What are your suggestions? I've seen a website that will tell you the width of your back seat and which carseats will fit best, but I can't find it again, so any help would be appreciated.

My friend has a Safety 1st (not sure of the model) as a spare for her husband's truck, and I have an Eddie Bauer 3-in-1.

I'm in Canada, can I take my carseat in her vehicle?

Okay, that info helps out so much. How about having her pick up a Cosco Scerena because they are so cheap in the states. They only cost $40 about. In Canada they are, I think, $90 or so. Not totally sure on that one. It is narrow and works well in more 3 across situations. Also, then she can make sure it works before she comes to get you.

A suggestion as to getting all of the seats to fit is to rf,ff,rf or ff,rf,ff. The puzzling works great in most situations. It might work best if she is using 2 MAs to put them outboard and the Scerena in the middle.

Hope this helps. If you have more questions please ask.

I meant LEGALLY you would be fine using your existing seat as long as it installed well in her car. Have you removed the base for your seat? You may find it fits fine without it.
