Question Car Seat Compatible

My wife and I are expecting in November and I am trying to find out if our second car (aka my old truck) can have a car seat installed properly. I have a 1997 Dodge Dakota Club Cab SLT. It was the long bench seat all the way across the back with three sets of seat belts. One technically for each person. It seems like I can install a seat back there but am not totally sure how I would go about it. I don’t know if I am allowed to put the seat up front. Passenger seat has an air bag. I could disable it but are car seats allowed up front (rear facing)? I know there are different kinds of car seat styles that could help. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Just want to make sure I do this right.

Edited to add... I'm also going to paste this other thread here. It's fairly technical with a specific problem, but it has nice pictures of the backseat in question and may give others a visual on the seat for ideas.
