DD & Britax Parkway

Hi,

DD is turning 7 in 3 months, 56 lbs, 48 inches and we have just moved her out of her TF and into the PW. I am posting pictures of her in the PW. Any feed back on how she looks would be much appreciated!

Does the shoulder rest position look okay?

How about the lap belt?

This is a picture of the lap belt before I shortened the strap on the secureguard. She was wearing loose clothing in this picture, so I got her to change for the other ones.

Thanks so much!

It's kind of hard to tell with the snapshots you posted, but it does look like the shoulder belt is slipping off of her shoulder. I'd move the headrest up until it is centered on the collarbone.

The lap belt should be flat, not rumpled like that. I actually like it better longer.

Agreed. Hard to tell with the shoulder pic because it is so close up, but I think it would be good to try moving the headrest up one notch and see if it is more centered on her shoulder.

I think the second lap pic with the longer secure guard strap looks better. I don't like how the first pic has the strap pulling the lap belt so far down.

Thanks for all the feedback! I will move the shoulder rest up a bit and lengthen the secureguard and post another picture tomorrow. :)

I can't remember if they have a picture in the manual, but I remember the bottom of the SG clip should be at the same height as the top of the legs. Therefore, the first pic would be too low and second pic looks about right. It would be easier to tell with a picture that shows more of her shoulder area.

Here are some pics of DD from today. I lengthened the secureguard strap and raised the head rest a bit.

Does it look okay?

Any advice/feedback would be great. I am new to the booster seat crowd!

thanks!

She's a bit slumped over in the body shot, Its hard to tell on shoulder belt fit. Make sure she is seated properly, then take a pic. I'd almost raise the head rest one more click just to see.

Lap belt looks great, I'd also raise the headrest another click.

She's leaning to the left. My DD likes to do that for pics too. :D We have to take it up an extra click for my DD too or it's too far out on the shoulder.

Thank you so much for starting this thread! I just started DS1 in a Parkway, and this will help me adjust the fit of the seat a little bit.
