Replacement (4pt?) Belt - '89 Accord

I've been thinking about replacing the driver's seat belt in my 1989 Accord for a couple years. I've been able to feel a "rough spot" on one side of this belt for some time, it's becoming visible, and it's making me a bit nervous. My big dilemma is whether to get a dealer standard replacement or one of these. Trying to weigh the benefits of a 4pt vs. the benefits of a 3pt belt design that was crash tested in my particular vehicle model. Assuming i can actually get an OEM replacement, that is. Anyone else been through this?

And no, we're not in the market for a new(er) car. Hey, it's got character.

No advice except that Honda has a lifetime warranty for seatbelts. So if you want to replace it for free, then go for the manufactured seatbelt.

Thanks for the tip! I wonder if they'd consider the wear to make my seatbelts "not properly functional," though. That seems to be their criterion. I'll have to get in touch with the local dealer and see.

By the way, why a Fixway? It only goes up to 18kg (a touch less than 40lbs). There's a lovely selection of foreign seats that RF to 55lbs. I'm torn between the Britax Secura Hi-Way and Maxi-Cosi Mobi, myself. :D
