Inexpensive seat for travel?

I'm travelling to Saskatchewan to visit family with my 4 year old daughter. She is 42" tall, 38.5 lbs. Currently we use a couple of True Fit's in our cars at home, I don't want to travel with those as they're pretty heavy and bulky. Ideally I'd like to order an inexpensive seat to be sent to my sister's house over there, let her install it in their car for our trip, and then probably just leave it there (she has a 6mth old, maybe they'd be able to use it for him so it wouldn't go to waste?). Any ideas? She's too light for a hbb - and I'd much rather keep her harnessed since she's still harnessed at home and will be for quite some time. Anything good but not going to cost me as much as our flight?

I don't know how heavy they are, and your sister wouldn't get much use out of it for years, but the evenflo Maestros are on for $90 at Toys R Us starting tomorrow....

Ooooh, that's a pretty decent price! If I ordered it online and had it shipped to her place the weight wouldn't matter, and at least we'd have a seat to use over there. If she gets to use it later on that's really a bonus, I'm just concerned really about having a seat I don't have to lug around or pay a fortune for.

I'm going to measure her up tonight and check it out, see if it will work... thanks very much for the tip about the sale!

The Maestro is super light (10 lbs).. .if you are going to fly, why not take it with you on the plane to harness DD?
