Yeah she doesn't want to do the towel anymore. Its for a scenera and Omega. What are the rules on pool noodles? Max three taped together or does it change with the seat?

3 noodles taped together in a tripod should be plenty for either of those seats.

Some boutique stores do sell something that is like a noodle but it's more dense. There's the diono one that I was able to find: http://www.buybuybaby.com/store/pro...r-seat-positioner/1040144979?categoryId=32029
And then there is this one:

http://www.kidslandusa.com/safefit/accessories/safefit-car-seat-leveler.php

There have been 2 occasions where 3 noodles weren't sufficient and the triangular one was.

It would be nice if they made noodles with a bit denser foam, but these 2 items are safe to use to get the right angle if you need to.

(These are US sites I linked because I was aiming to show the product and not trying to find where to buy, lol)

Thanks Trudy, I haven't seen those. The safe fit looks like a noodle tripod. Can we assume that they will perform like noodles in a crash?

They are very lightweight, essentially a dense noodle. I have zero concern about these - they don't compress or shift the way noodles do, and if they were less expensive I would probably keep extras on hand for those cases where seats are hard to get reclined enough.

I used one with Jillian's AO eons ago and I gave it away to a family awhile ago when a noodle pyramid wasn't enough to get their baby trend reclined enough.

So those are safe and available in Canada? Thanks

Yep, available in Canada, and are safe - they're just like a noodle. (The only exception being - the seat must allow the use of noodles or towels to increase the recline, and they can't be used to over-recline the seat.)

When we look at things that we use to adjust the angle of a car seat, things like rolled towels and noodles are used because they're lightweight and can generally be put in the right size and are easy to find - and free or cheap. But I've used things like blankets, coats, etc before. What's important is that it's not going to be a projectile in a collision and will let the seat sit at the right angle and be properly tightened.
