Question Nissan Frontier Crew & rear-facing seats

Hello! We are looking at buying a 2005 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab truck, but it is 3 hours away so my husband will most likely be going on his own to see it/buy it. I have looked a lot online to see what I can find out about fitting seats on this vehicle....but try googling car seat & frontier truck, you get a lot of hits about Britax Frontiers :)

Today I checked the local dealer and they have no frontiers in stock I can play with. Does anyone have any real life experience with seats in this vehicle? I have 2 kids: 5 yrs FFing in a Britax frontier and 20 months rear facing in a Evenflo a triumph or a Radian.

I know it is a bit of an odd question but figured it didn't hurt to ask!

If this is the same truck you're buying I might re-think things.

Aside from the oddities in the back seat, you won't be able to ride in the front passenger seat. It says right in the manual that if a CR is in the back the front passenger seat should be left unoccupied.

But, maybe you are buying a different model altogether...
