Graco Connext Vs Graco Affix NBB

I have looked locally and I haven't found either locally---yet. I can order either online via TRU or walmart but HATE buying sight unseen.

If you have one, what do you like about it? What do you not like?

I seen a review about the affix latch sometimes loosening when bumped? Anyone have that experience?

I need to move my 8.5y/o daughter to a booster. She's currently riding in a graco turbobooster nbb but it's going to expire soon and she's notorious for not seat belting it in when she gets out of the van. She JUST outgrew her regent :( She's about 54"/54lb.

It looks like both go to 57" which my boys hit that before age 10 so I'm thinking she might only get 18 mo use out of it? Is the NBB something that the 57" can be stretched a little if the seatbelt doesn't quite fit yet? I'm just looking at her and thinking her legs aren't going to be long enough after only an additional 3" or so of growth for her to comfortably sit without a booster. Suggestions?

Does she find the Turbo to be comfy? The Affix is more or less the same shape/width/etc, the Connext is way more curvy and low and might be better for bigger kids... http://carseatblog.com/21470/graco-connext-booster-review-two-thumbs-up/
The newest seats are being shipped with the LATCH that doesn't loosen, so should be good (even LATCHes that loosen aren't a problem except they wig people out, since they aren't serving a safety purpose by staying tight, just staying 'still-ish')

my 9yo prefers the connext (he liked it so much we own 2), it's wider, deeper and lower so it's not so obvious that's he in a booster (he's recently become embarrassed about using a booster) but gives great belt placement. It latches in really tight which I know isn't necessary but he's more comfortable, it can't "get away from him". He just wishes it had a cup holder :)

Bigger as in heavier? or taller? or both?

Oh! and to answer the question...she's only been in the turbo maybe 30 minutes total so far so I don't think she's developed a fondness or dislike for it yet.

I did take notice we also have a fpsv nbb dated Sept 2007 so I think we have until September for that one? I have to look up the expiration on those. If I can I may just keep her in that until I can physically "see" the other 2. She used it in her dad's car for a while now since he has a smaller vehicle.

I can't comment on the Affix but it does seem like the Turbo.. I have tried the Connext and DD liked it. I love that it latches and is lightweight, 2 lbs 5.5 oz! It does have a different shape (connext) compared to the Affix so it can help in tighter situations. The only con that I can see is no cup holder.

Brett likes the Connext. It fits him better than the Turbo or the lite Rider. It does not provide a good shoulder belt fit in my Prius. The shoulder belt is practically off the arm. But the Monterey no back is beautiful.

I have a backless affix in DH's car for DS and he loves it. He also rides in a Parkway backless, a turbo backless, and a backless monterey.
