So...my LO seems to be coming pretty close to outgrowing her CCO RF. We are starting to think about next steps.
We have an '09 Pilot. We have the following seats:
- Safety First Complete Air 65 (spare in the garage)
- Evenflo Triumph Advance DLX (currently FF in Pilot)
- Scenera (FF in hubby's Element for Z's occasional use)
My 3.9 yr old is FF in the EFTA but she is only an inch (last time I checked) from reaching the 40in limit for the seat. I did read that correctly?
I was looking into the Frontier or ProSport to FF Z in, and move MJ RF in either the CA or the EFTA. Also might try the Scenera RF for MJ and put the EFTA in hubby's car. (I do not like the headslump issues we have with the FF CA)
Whatever we decide on will need to fit side by side on the "60" portion of the 2nd row. The RF seat will end up in the center to allow my long legged hubby to drive.
ETA: I don't think I ever posted my actual question. (man..I'm really off tonight)
The point of the post is ..
1) Is there a RF convertible that is "less invasive" OR SHORTER when installed to allow the driver more room and allow us to keep our FF 3 yr old in the center position?
2) It will need to puzzle well in an '09 Pilot next to a FF Frontier (most likely our choice) on the "60" portion of the 2nd row bench.
3) Is it worth it to purchase another seat simply to keep our FF daughter in the center or would she be fine outboard?
TIA
also please move if this belongs elsewhere
