In Search Of Recline flip-y thing for ProSport

The ProSport installs really reclined in my car, and I was thinking that with the recline foot in the non-reclined position, it would bolster it up some. Am I crazy for thinking this? Recaro CS says it isn't an available option anymore, because it's an upgrade thing for the Performance Sport. So, does anyone have one they would part with?

That doesn't seem correct. I talked to the Recaro rep last month at a CPS update about the missing flip-foot and was told that parents who got a ProSport without the recline foot could call CS and get one shipped out. My first suggestion would be to call again, but if you feel like that won't work, I can see if I can dig up his email - really nice guy and he might be able to get one sent your way.

The person I talked to said they used to send the thing out, but now that the Performance Sport is available, they don't send them anymore. But I will call again and see if I get lucky and get someone else on the line.

When you purchased your ProSport, did it mention "recline wedge" or anything similar in the description? Or does it mention it being included on the box? If so, I would use that as your "pushing" point. If they still won't send it out, let me know and I will see if I can find the rep's email address... based on what he said they *should* be sending those out. (Of course it's possible that they changed policy or whatever, but if they advertise a feature of the seat and then send the seats out without it, they should make good on their "promise.")

Actually, my seat doesn't mention it in the manual or anything. I only know of the flip-y thing because of CSO. I didn't have a chance to call today, my house was too crazy loud, but I can try tomorrow while Colton is in school. If I still get a no, I'll let you know.
