joovy caboose/ or buggy board?

Anyone have any of the Joovy Caboose strollers? Are the any good? They have the ultra light now.

Or maybe I should just get a buggy kid board? Does anyone like those? Is a stroller hard to push with a kid standing there?

3rd option is a double stroller.

I've been taking way to much deciding this!!

Recap my last few stroller post....baby is 1 yr old today!! Little guy is a few weeks shy of 3. I do wear baby slot, she tiny. I have new boba and a butterfly2. This is how we winged it last yr. But....I'm afraid I'll wish I had a double this yr.

Needs an almost flat fold. I have a bjcm that fits behind my 3rd row bench. But had to sell my baby trend jogger because it wouldn't.

What would you do?

I should add that I have a choo choo wagon for walks around town and to the park. It just don't fit in my van.

Anyone with kid/buggy board experience? I've never used one. Can you fold your stroller with it attached? Are they big enough for kids to ride on for long periods of time?

I have a joovy big caboose and a joovy single stroller...I love them! I own the strollers as well as other joovy baby gear and it's a all awesome and great quality. My only complaint about the big caboose is the size, but mine is the triple version, so its going tp be big. I also have a graco double stroller, it's ok, but I'd rather have a sit and stand with a 3 year old. However, I've never been a "travel system" big stroller kind of person, so I wasn't impressed by the graco.

Ok, thank you.

I'm just so undecided. A double would make sense, but most people don't seem to think a 3 yr old will use it that much.

I could deck out my bjcm with a kid board but it doesn't look comfy to me???

So maybe I'll research the joovy caboose a little more.

I see why people own a dozen strollers, lol.

I had a joovy ul and I thought it sucked. I used it twice, both times walking on pavement and I couldn't wait to get rid of it. The push was horrible and the fold was huge and the basket was basically unusable.

I would much rather have a full sized double that is going to take up as much space but have better features. Honestly, the pos cosco dbl I got for $5 at the thrift store pushes better with 60# of kids and has reversible seats.

I've always had a regular dbl when my kids were 4 and under just because they're lazy. My almost 11yo would still ride if I let him. When they're older its nice to have one that is open in the front without a tray so they can hop in and out.

Yeah, I have a few. I bought the graco duo glider, but I had a 13 month old and a newborn. The board add on thing don't seem like enough for a 3 year old to me. The sit and stand seat on the joovy is adequate and has a harness to keep them in it.

Hi again, I just ordered the I joovy ultra light two. It comes with the little jump seat. It was only 30 more to get the extra seat. I'll just put it up for a later date.

If I hate it, I'll look into a double. I figured this way, little man can sit stand and hop off. If he needs to sleep, I'll just wear baby. I also have a small 6 yr old DD, so maybe she'll like it to.

Thanks!

How do you like the Joovy Too? Is the second seat pretty easy to get on and off, and does it stow in the basket underneath? DS2 is 2-1/2 yo and DS3 is 6 mo, and need something for them. I have a B-Ready now, but DS2 is too big for the bottom seat, and now refuses to sit in the top seat, and DS3 screams the whole time when in the bottom seat, or when his carrier is attached. I considered a stroller board, but DS2 is a runner and occasionally wants to nap while we are out....Just curious about your experience so far.

TIA

I'm over all happy with it. I haven't tried to store the second seat yet. But I'll go out as soon as the rain stop and see if it fits in the basket.

My almost 3 yr old loves it. He can get on and off at the zoo him self. So he loves the freedom. My 13 month old really only likes me to wear her, lol...but it's nice to able to take a break with her.

I haven't been using the jump seat yet, But bought it because it was a better deal to get now. I'll be trying for # seven late summer/ early fall.

I ordered mine through albee baby. After the 15% off, it was 229.

Also, like I've said before, I'm not a huge stroller person. I wear the baby most the time. I wouldn't have minded paying the price of say the b agile double or bjcmd, but didn't want to buy all the add ons that they don't come with, for just occasional use.

I have tried all 3-joovy caboose, stroller board and double stroller. My children are 2 and 4 now. I started using a joovy caboose when I realized my jogging stroller is just too wide for normal doorways. So I got the the buggy board thinking it would be great for my son and my single stroller....but....he didn't like it much. He was scared of it and he wanted to sit. So I got the joovy. It worked fine, but I am out and about all day sometimes and if he sleeps, it's just impossible for both kids, even carrying my younger child when she was 1 in my ergo. And steering was pretty difficult. Then I got the maclaren twin triumph. It has worked out great where both kids can sleep and I can push them through regular doorways with ease. The steering is good, not as good as my 3 wheel jogger, but folds up small and somewhat light. I am glad I bought it. I also have a combi twin sport for travel and I like that too. I overestimated that my some would be SO over stroller riding but he wasn't. And it's great for long days/theme parks.
