I was going to post about that 'show' (really, I guess it's a vignette , as it's all short and stuff). DD watches it in bed in the morning while I'm... um... er... asleep, and stuff. I sorta/kinda half listen, but I remember the 'car safety' one coming on a few weeks ago. I jumped up as fast as I could to see what it was about, but by the time I got my glasses on it was over.
I couldn't find a clip on youtube (never even thought the actual disney website
)
Aren't Lou and Lou in 5 pts though? That's something, right? (grasping at straws here). And really, the sister is older... I'm glad they had her in a booster and not a properly positioned seat belt (because, being a cartoon, they can position anything correctly
)
OK, go to "Lou, Lou, and You" If you play long enough, you'll get to the car safety one. There are NO boosters (it's the older sister and her friend). The violation is that Sis isn't wearing a seat belt - doesn't say anything about boosters
Another one: Sis is buckled up this time (still no booster),but is loudly listening to her MP3 player - distracting the driver
Each scenario has 3 wrong cycles, apparently: in the last one, Dad is driving and talking on his cell phone - how does this pertain to teaching kids? Unless they're trying to get the kids to tell their parents that they're being dangerous
