Question convertible car seat 2013 Sonata

We just got a second car and need a second convertible car seat for our son. In our 2002 Mitsubishi Diamonte he has a Britax Advocate (which in retrospect is too big for the car). We're looking for something equally safe but smaller.

He is 21 months, 32.5" and 27lbs. He is rear facing and we want him to stay that way as long as possible.

My husband and I are both short (5'7" and 5'3" respectively) so I imagine he will be as well.

We would like to put his sister's chicco keyfit 30 in the middle seat, and his behind the driver's seat if at all possible. If not, we'll have his seat on the passenger side, and the baby's behind the drivers' seat, as we do in the mitsubishi.

I've been looking at the Evenflo Triumph or Britax Marathon, though I'm open for other suggestions. Main priorities: having a safe seat, an one that fits well.

Thanks for your help!

I test drove the Sonata, but didn't end up getting it. The radian with an angle adjuster fit nicely! We ended up getting the 2013 passat. If you want him to stay RFing for as long as possible I wouldn't look into the Marathon. The marathon is a seat that is outgrown quickly. I would also consider the Size 4 me/mysize 70 I didn't personally install it in the car, but it fit nearly in my 07 Mazda 6 which has a smaller back seat. Therefore I imagine it would fit.

I don't know much about the Triumph, so I'll let others comment on that.
